Today’s lesson is the first of
two on STRUCTURE in ‘The Tell-Tale Heart’. Analysing structure is a key skill
when it comes to your GCSEs, so this will be great practice for you.
Here’s your lesson for Monday:
- Do the next lesson on ‘The Tell-Tale Heart’ on Oak National Academy.
Don’t
forget to share your work with Mr McKirdy via Teams!
Extension:
If
you’re enjoying ‘The Tell-Tale Heart’, why not read some more of Edgar Allan
Poe’s work. His complete works can be found here. I’d recommend his short stories
‘The Black Cat’, ‘The Masque of the Red Death’ and ‘The Fall of the House of
Usher’. Here’s a shorter version of ‘Usher’.
That’s it for today. I’ll be back
tomorrow with your next lesson. The other forms have reached the climax of Frankenstein,
so it won’t be long until you’re all doing the same work.
Let me know if you need anything.
Mr M
